What is Chronic Fatigue Fibromyalgia?   by Lee Leong

The number of Chronic Fatigue Fibromyalgia sufferers is growing, however, not many people understand what Chronic Fatigue Fibromyalgia means. It actually refers to two types of ailments. Chronic Fatigue is serious body exhaustion which could last for at least six months. This condition usually has four symptoms. Victims of this disease may have impaired memory or have problems concentrating. On top of that, they would also feel muscle pain, lack of sleep, malaise, headache and sore throat.

On the other hand, Fibromyalgia is a syndrome which is associated with pain on several tender points of the body. People who has Fibromyalgia normally suffer from insomnia and fatigue. This condition is typically caused by dysfunction of the immune system or the hypothalamus. The inadequacy of certain body nutrients also adds to the disease. Fibromyalgia normally develops very slowly over the years. This makes it difficult to be diagnosed.

Both these ailments need medical attention, as they may occur in different levels of severity. The truth is, they are difficult to be diagnosed. Currently, there are no definite laboratory tests to confirm them. Hence, most of the doctors consider an all-inclusive approach to the disease, including the use of alternative medicines. Most of the time, it is up to the patient to determine which medication help them better.

The treatment of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia should be carried out on the first signs of the disease. For starters, a highly nutritious diet should be in place. The energy required of a person with chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia is found on foods rich in Vitamin B or in several supplement capsules that are available at most drug stores.

Another way to relieve fatigue is by getting enough peaceful sleep. People with chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia have difficulty sleeping. Even if they do get to sleep, it is not as refreshing as it should be.

The body pains associated with the disease have to be addressed. This is done through taking medications, either drug or herbs. Always consult your doctor to prescribe one for you. From time to time, you might need to switch from one pill to another though, just to determine which drug is most helpful to you.
